About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Director of Program Operations & Reporting to join My Sister’s Place (MSP). This role is critical to ensuring that our programs deliver consistent, high-quality services to survivors of domestic violence while meeting all compliance and reporting requirements. You will oversee operational performance across transitional housing programs (RISE, RISE Plus, and FRSP) with 50% of time focused on FRSP until the potential end of the grant on September 31, 2025. If FRSP concludes, this role will shift to managing the Shelter program’s operations and staff while continuing to manage RISE and RISE Plus, ensuring comprehensive leadership across all MSP programs.
This position requires a strong leader who thrives on process improvement, compliance, and data-driven decision-making. The Director of Program Operations & Reporting reports to the Senior Director of Programs. This is a hybrid position and expected to be in the office 1-2 days a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
FRSP Oversight (50% focus potentially ending September 31, 2025):
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the FRSP program, ensuring compliance with grant deliverables and program goals.
· Provide direct supervision and support to FRSP program staff, including training, technical assistance, and performance evaluations.
· Conduct weekly client check-ins to ensure services meet MSP’s standards.
· Monitor program outcomes, evaluate performance data, and implement improvements as needed.
· Oversee and manage funder relationships with grant manager, including reporting and site-visits.
RISE and RISE Plus Support (25% each):
· Collaborate with RISE and RISE Plus Program Managers to ensure compliance with grant workplans and reporting requirements.
· Provide technical support for data oversight, including the analysis of program-related statistical data.
· Assist with preparing and compiling program reports to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
· Support Program Managers in ensuring deliverables are met and identifying areas for improvement.
· Oversee and manage funder relationships with grant manager, including reporting and site-visits.
Shelter Program Management (starting October 1, 2025):
· Transition into managing the operations of MSP’s Shelter program, ensuring services meet client needs and comply with all regulatory requirements.
· Supervise Shelter program staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development.
· Oversee the implementation of program policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain high-quality service delivery.
· Collaborate with Shelter staff to monitor outcomes, address challenges, and ensure alignment with MSP’s mission and goals.
Operational Oversight:
· Standardize and streamline operational processes across RISE, RISE Plus, and FRSP (and Shelter, post-FRSP) to ensure consistent service delivery.
· Maintain and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all programs.
· Conduct regular audits of client services and program operations to ensure compliance with regulations and funding requirements.
· Create and/or implement systems to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
· Ensure all programs meet legal, regulatory, and funder requirements.
· Conduct program evaluations and implement quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest service standards.
· Monitor key performance metrics and use data to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.
Program Growth and Development:
· Work closely with the Senior Director of Programs to develop and enhance existing programs and explore new initiatives.
· Provide strategic input to grow programs that align with MSP’s mission and long-term goals.
Leadership and Supervision:
· Supervise (directly or indirectly) program staff across RISE, RISE Plus, and FRSP, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
· Conduct annual performance evaluations and offer ongoing support to staff.
· Facilitate communication between programs to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
· Must have at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field, and professional knowledge of the theories, principles, techniques, and practices of social service delivery systems.
· Must have a minimum of 6 years professional supervisory and/or managerial experience in the human services field.
· Must have a minimum of four (4) years of professional homeless services.
· Must have previous FRSP experience.
· Demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff, foster collaboration, and maintain high team morale.
· Strong skills in analyzing program performance data and implementing improvements based on findings.
· A proven track record of ensuring compliance with regulations, managing audits, and producing accurate reports.
· Passion for supporting survivors of domestic violence and promoting trauma-informed care.
