Clothesline Project Volunteers
We will host the Clothesline Project 2016 at McPherson Square, 950 15th Street  NW, Washington DC 20005, on October 7, 2016 from 10am-3pm . Real survivors tell their stories of abuse, despair, hope, and empowerment by expressing their feelings and experiences of domestic violence through their own art on t-shirts, which are displayed on a clothesline held by victim advocates and volunteers. Victims often suffer in silence and shame. MSP's Clothesline Project gives them a voice.

Volunteers help with setting up the display, checking in fellow volunteers, displaying the Clothesline, disassembling the display, and with getting the word out via Facebook! If you or a group would like to volunteer please email

Community Outreach and Education Volunteers
Community Outreach and Education volunteers support our initiatives to connect local services providers and others to our free and confidential programs and services. Volunteers support special projects, assist with translating materials, or represent our agency at tabling events. Please complete our volunteer application and stress your experience working with victims of domestic violence or first responders and any language skills you may have.
